Mode 1. Floating control point voltage:
Usually after charging, the battery is also stationary for a period of time, so that its terminal voltage naturally falls, when it falls to the maintenance voltage point, it will enter the floating state. Similar to charging with small current, charging a little when the battery voltage is low, charging a little when the battery voltage is low, one by one, so as not to keep the temperature of the battery rising, which is very good for the battery.
Mode 2. Uniform Charging Control Point Voltage:
After direct charging, the battery will generally be held by the charge and discharge controller for a period of time, so that its voltage will naturally fall, when it falls to the "recovery voltage" value, it will enter the state of uniform charging. Equal charging, that is, balanced charging. The average charge time should not be too long, usually for a few minutes to ten minutes. It is harmful to set the time too long. For a small system equipped with one or two batteries, charging is of little significance. So. Solar street lamp controllers are generally not equally charged, only two stages.
Mode 3. Direct Charging Protection Point Voltage:
Direct charging is also called emergency charging, which belongs to fast charging. Generally, when the battery voltage is low, the battery is charged with high current and relatively high voltage. However, there is a control point, also known as protection point. The voltage of direct charge protection point is also "overcharge protection point" voltage. When charging, the voltage of battery terminal should not be higher than this protection point. Otherwise, it will cause overcharge and damage the battery.
Mode 4. Over-discharge protection termination voltage:
Battery discharge should not be lower than the stipulated value of the national standard. Although battery manufacturers have their own protection parameters, they still need to approach the national standard in the end.
For the sake of safety, the overdischarge protection point voltage of 12V battery is usually artificially added with 0.3V as temperature compensation or zero drift correction of control circuit. Thus, the overdischarge protection point voltage of 12V battery is 11.10v, and the overdischarge protection point voltage of 24V system is 22.20V.
