I. Illustration of Indicators
When in the daytime, the solar street lamp controller will turn on the charging red light (SUN) under the sunshine (strobe is the way to turn on the light, the stronger the sunshine, the greater the charging current and the faster the strobe speed); the intermediate double-color lamp (BAT) represents the capacity of the battery, the red light represents the overdischarge of the battery, the yellow light represents the undervoltage of the battery, and the green represents the storage. The battery is all right; another red light represents the working state of the led: constant light represents the normal discharge of the battery, stroboscopic represents the failure.
II. Faults and Indicator Lamp Phenomena
1. During the daytime, the LED light source will not be extinguished (the green and red lights of the two-color lights work normally)
When the above situation occurs, we need to check whether our wiring is correct, because the solar street lamp controller can not receive the voltage transmitted from the solar panels will default that the LED has been working until the end of its set working hours; it will also lead to the next day will not work properly. We need to check if the connection between the controller and solar panels is reversed. Another possible reason is that the solar panels are short-circuited directly (because the high-power panels are protected by diodes, which can be cut short to make them work properly).
2. Solar street lamp does not turn on after a period of time (double-color lamp appears red)
When the red light appears in the middle lamp of the solar street lamp controller, it will automatically cut off the LED light source. The default is that the battery voltage will be restored to the overdischarge protection voltage, so the LED light source can continue to work.
3. The LED light source does not turn on for a period of time at night (the two-color light appears yellow)
The yellow color of the double-color lamp indicates that it has been under-voltage. It usually appears after a long rainy day, where it stops working at night for a period of time. The way we do after-sales maintenance for our customers is to remove the LED light source's wires and let the sun charge for a day or two to work properly (of course, don't connect the wires back); in fact, don't worry too much, the solar street lamp controller here will protect the batteries.
4. The LED is not on (the two-color lamp is not on or the red indicator is on)
If the LED light source does not turn on, we first look at the indicator lamp of the controller. If the controller is damaged, the indicator lamp will work incorrectly.
